Super Visa for Parents and Grandparents:
Starting 01 December 2011, parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents have a new option for visiting Canada. If you wish to come to Canada to visit a child or grandchild for an extended stay, you may wish to apply for a Super Visa.
A Parent
and Grandparent Super Visa allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents to remain in Canada for up to 24 months at a time without the need for renewal of their status.
